Jennifer Spencer, AIA, NCARB


Jennifer is a practicing architect with over 16 years of experience in all phases of architectural design and construction, specializing in historic rehabilitation and adaptive re-use. Other areas of experience include comprehensive project planning for real estate development, financial pro-forma’s and project estimating. She has a demonstrated understanding and cost knowledge of green building practices and LEED certification. As a project manager, she has the unique skill to pull the necessary components of a project together, orchestrating the needs of her clients and the building design process. Her experience with Historic Tax Credit projects over the last 10 years has awarded her with the ability to bring otherwise challenged developments to profitable fruition and contribute to the revitalization of downtowns.

Jennifer is the President of the AIA Illinois Prairie Chapter and volunteers with the Rockford Public Schools, organizing student design competitions and mentoring students who are considering the architectural profession.
